We had a wonderful time, enjoyed all of the excursions, especially the Michelin restaurant and the boat ride On The Bay with the dolphins. The Madrid hotel was magnificent and the other two were very nice as well. Loved having Gerard as our guide and the Kanfers as our host and hostess. Everything was lovely… Thank you so much!

We thought the trip to the Basque region of Spain was fabulous. Great group, excellent food, amazing scenery and overall, a wonderful experience. The only suggestion would be to evaluate the experiences based on the group (i.e. lighthouse tour) which would be difficult for the majority of the group. Kudos to Larry, Alaina & Gerard for leading an amazing experience. Thank you!! Looking forward to future trips. Jim & Kathie Pound

It was a fabulous trip in every way...wonderful food, accommodations, excursions, especially locations and our hosts the Kanfers were wonderful as well as Gerard. It was a bit fast paced for me as the early morning meet times gave us little sleep time. But looking forward to the next Kanfer led trip.

I love Larry and Alaina as trip leaders and Girard as guide. The hotels were wonderful, although first hotel was warm and I couldn’t get window open (a/c wasn’t on). The food and excursions were beyond expectations! Loved the boat excursion. The group was full of interesting people. Can’t wait for the next trip.

The travel community that Alaina and Larry have created and nurture so beautifully is what makes each On the Beaten Path trip different than other trips my husband and I have taken. And the fun and incredible surprises that Larry loves to do on each trip adds to the uniqueness of the trips.
